Who are the Wisconsin Dual Sport Riders?
Incorporated as a non-stock corporation in 2005, we are Federal Income Tax Exempt under IRS section 501 (c) (4).
We are a statewide group of passionate dual-sport riding enthusiasts.
Our Mission Statement is:
To promote Dual Sport motorcycling in the State of Wisconsin through organized events, collaboration with other enthusiasts and organizations, communication with state and local officials and by being good stewards of our resources and a positive influence in the communities in which we live, work and recreate.
What does this club do?
The club hosts two premier organized riding events each year. The spring Ride for Research is put on as a fundraiser to support the UW Carbone Cancer Center and the fall Big Woods 200 is offered which also raises contributions for a variety of important local causes. Most importantly, these events draw other enthusiasts from all over the Midwest, together to share in a terrific sense of community and motorcycling experience. We strive to provide a good natured and truly family oriented environment for our participants and guests.
What does this mean to me?
Would you like to join the club? Members prepare the trails and routes. We host the events, as well as ride in them. We also get together for members-only fun rides up north, or in far away lands. Our theme this year is "Have more fun." As a member there are many ways to help out, and many riding opportunities as well. We always have a great time working and riding together. If this sounds good to you, please join, you will be happy you did! Feel free to contact us for more information. Thank you for your interest.
How can I help?
Sponsor participation is welcome and very much appreciated. If you can contribute products, promotional items, clothing, gift certificates, or whatever best suits you as door prizes or raffle items, that would be terrific. If you wish to consider sponsoring a grand prize for a rider drawing, that would be huge. If you can attend our events with a display or product demonstration, the crowd would love it. Cash donations to help support the charity work that is associated with the rides we host are always put to good use. We are very flexible and wish to do what works for you!
